Dear sir ,
I came across your website because I am interested in the Eritrean problem, here in Israel. Tens of thousands of Eritreans crossed the border from Egypt, and are currently here.
First of all, I would like to know - who does this website belong to / who runs it? I came across it, when looking up Erirtrea’s GDP.
Unfortunately, the Eritrean infiltration into Israel is causing us a lot of problems. First of all, a lot of Israelies who were working in low paid jobs, lost their jobs to Eritreans - because the latter are paid below minimum wage and health insurance + national insurance + pensions rights are not paid out to them (which is illegal in Israel, but is not properly enforced), and they (the Eritreans) are still happy with that - because compared to their wages home, it is significantly higher.
Second, many Eritreans are living illegaly - tens of young men in crowded 2-3 room apartments in south Tel Aviv (Israel’s largest city), increasing the already high costs of housing for local Israeli citzens, and creating a nuisance in those neighbourhood - because of the crowding, many of them urinate in public places and inside buildings, and there have been many cases of Eritrean immigrants stealing cell-phones and bicycles.
The Eritreans in Israel enjoy a “collective protection” status awarded to them by the U.N. which claims (in my opinion unjustified) that conditions in Eritrea are “so bad”, that sending them back to their country would risk their lives.
What do you think about this issue?
Your comments would be appreciated

What about the poverty that compounded Latin America, and still migrating to USA and other countries. Migration is a personal choice.
God Bless Eritreans who are living in Israel.

RE: Letter submitted by “Italy” concerning Eritrean Immigrants
Understandably, someone feeling unnecessarily burdened may choose to voice and act in frustration. It’s inconceivable however, to target a fellow victim and spare the enabler. Unless of course, you’ve been deceived. No one wants to feel duped so you may perhaps take this defensively but ask yourself; do the poor control Labor & Trade policy, Immigration and enforcement thereof? If the answer is no, perhaps it’s time to write a different letter. Address it to the nice suits charged with responsibly redistributing your taxes.
By “causing us a lot of problems,” to whom exactly does “us” refer to? All Israeli’s? Jewish Israeli’s? Zionists who’d prefer to purge Israel of every unfortunate migrant and native Palestinian than to offer refuge and rehab?
It’s disturbing to see Jewish Israeli’s mistreat the marginalized in-light of recent history. And to justify plain bigotry, evident in your letter, by blaming those desperately seeking a better life, for your economic misfortune is woefully wrong on so many levels, it’s disheartening!
To start, try reflecting introspectively for signs of human decency. If there’s any, you may then proceed to re-examine the true cause of your burdens. Policy, in my opinion is a good place to start. Israel’s horrific labor laws with respect to foreign nationals enable unspeakable abuses. Lack of enforcement (complicity), equally contributes to an unrelenting class warfare waged by who…. Governments.
So the next time you see PM Benjamin speak about economic protections for Israeli’s, you as well as Saudi, Egypt & Qatar citizens ought to take your misplaced aggression (or fear) of undocumented HUMAN BEINGS and unleash upon it’s proper target … upside Bibi’s head. For it is he along with other self-serving heads of state who have deceived you. It is they who have dwindled your opportunities and institutionalized global economic slavery.
